Verification Sessions

How Identity models a customer or business verification workflow from creation to final state.

Section

Why sessions matter

Verification sessions give Identity a clean lifecycle for every onboarding attempt. They let customers create a unit of work, collect evidence into it, move it through provider checks and manual review, and then react to the final outcome.

Section

Typical lifecycle

  1. Session created
  2. Evidence submitted
  3. Provider checks executed
  4. Review state resolved automatically or manually
  5. Webhook or API status consumed by the customer platform
